Deep Vein thrombosis or deep venous thrombosis (DVT) is the formation of a blood clot (thrombus) with a deep vein, predominantly within the legs. Deep contained in the calf muscle tissue of legs, there’s a plexus of deep veins, the place the blood tends to pool when the muscle tissue are nor energetic.
